Iris G. Leigh
Professionally I’ve followed academic and clinical careers and am an international presenter on bullying prevention. My publications include textbook contributions, numerous abstracts, an article in Occupational Therapy Practice on violence prevention, and as a contributor to Harwich Neighbors. As a full-time Cape Cod resident, I am actively involved in writing and book groups, a member of numerous art and music organizations, and volunteer on a library committee to promote educational offerings for the town.
Where’s Emmy is one of three novels featuring Liza Kasner, a private detective in Chatham, MA. In her first appearance, Hide on Cape Cod, she escapes her abusive husband and goes underground. In Where’s Emmy, she becomes an investigator locating stolen children. In my third book (in process), Lisa is called upon to help a local family solves a murder involving corporate espionage and a hunt for missing data. As a writer of plays, I’m the co-author of Crystal Solutions Cab Company, a post pandemic farce, and its sequel Roommates.
I maintain a website at IrisGleigh.com. As a networked individual on Cape Cod, I have a rich community of readers to help market my publications. My experience presenting at conferences all over the world would be invaluable in delivering talks to promote my books.
